What Causes Pale Yellow Stool After Having A Pain In Abdomen?

2 years ago I had a gall bladder attack, I passed a white stool and could not stand straight. My Doctor sent me to the emergency room. The duct from the gall bladder was blocked by stones, gall bladder full of stones. My pancreas and liver were involved. Spent a week in the hospital until I was well enough to have the gall bladder removed. I am now freakishly aware of the color of my stool, weird. Why when I have pain and cramps in my lower abdomen do I have a very pale yellow stool.

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history of gal bladder attack 2 years ago wherein the bile ducts were blocked by stones and hence was admitted with pale stools. Got operated, the gall bladder was removed. Now you are freakishly aware of the color of the stool, pain and cramps in lower abdomen and pale yellow stools.
Pale yellow stools can usually be due to intestinal infection as you have lower abdominal pain and cramps also.
I would advise you the following:
Get the stool tested as well as liver function and other blood tests so that the exact cause can be determined and treated accordingly.
If the intestinal infection is present, you can get a course of antibiotic, metronidazole, probiotics and get well.
It also matters what foods you eat, some of them can give pale color to the stools.
If the stool and liver function show some problem then TC scan of the abdomen for pancreas should be done to see for any blockage and so on.
