What Causes Painfully Swollen Lower Leg?
My husband's lower right leg and foot is
swollen and painful. Swelling began in his foot 2 days ago.
After driving for several hours today, the leg and foot are very painful.
Could this be gout? He recently was taking water pills .

I really appreciate your concern, if this is sitting position for long time then such swelling is common symptoms seen and it may not be due to any disease once the leg being kept in elevated position swelling will be subsided, still better to get done the complete routine medical check up hope this information helps.
