What Causes Painfully Swollen Hip Bone?

Thank you, 4 days ago I fell, full body weight fall and landed on center of my back on the long part of a tool box the kind that goes in bed of a truck. Yes it was metal.. Anyhow.. last night I woke three times in pain and this afternoon my left side right above my hip bone in front is very very tender and is swelling sumwhat, I am insulin dependent. Type 2. also high blood pressure. I need to add there was no bruising should I be concerned I cannot afford to go to the dr. thank your for ur time

Hello,

I am sorry you cannot afford to go to the dr, but you should. Taking into account your personal history of type 2 diabetes, plus full body weight fall with painfully swollen hip bone; I'm sorry to say this is an emergency and you should check it out immediately.

Go to ER, you need xray of the hip bone, MRI and other tests.
It is very common to get complications from this fall in diabetics.
