General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It seems to be acute urinary tract infection. Causes can be urethritis, cystitis, kidney infection, etc. Your investigation needs to be done with urine routine microscopic examination and urine culture.

According to the culture report antibiotic course is prescribed. If needed for further work-up USG abdomen can be done to look for any stone or kidney or bladder infection if present.

Cranberry juice extract tablet is beneficial. Drink more water. Avoid excess spicy foods. Consult physician or urologist for examination and further discussion.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami
