What Causes Painful Urination?

Hey. I was wondering what does It mean if my right side hurts? It been hurting for the last three weeks. I can stand the pain until after I go pee. It don t hurt when I pee. Just hurt after really bad. Then my left side just started hurting today also the top of my belly. The middle of my belly don t hurt at all.

Hello

Painful urination may be due to UTI,genito-urinary calculus etc.
It may be due to genitourinary calculus in your case as you have pain.
UTI generally causes burning urination.
You may need clinical evaluation and few investigations.
Investigations include routine hemogram,random blood sugar,renal function test and ultrasound of KUB.
Ultrasound of KUB region is very important and it can exclude many causes.
CT scan of abdomen can be done after evaluation.
Proper treatment depend upon findings.
You should drink plenty of water.
You need evaluation by a urologist.
