Development of rash in the genital region, presence of swollen lymph node and having painful urination indicates that you have contacted infection through unprotected intercourse. Kindly continue and complete the course of antibiotics. Infection of the urethral mucosa due to urinary tract infection will take certain amount of time to heal completely. Kindly take good quantity of fluids, especially citrus fruit juices. Take care not to indulge in sexual activities till the symptoms subside completely. It would be always advisable to take adequate protection by wearing condoms while indulging in sexual intercourse to avoid such infections. Hope the information provided would be helpful.
