What Causes Painful Urination And Clear Discharge?

I have a small brown clear discharge and a bit of a feeling like with bladder infection meaning when I urinate it gives a little bit of pain and I have this feeling of never properly urinating. I have been taking antibiotics for the last 2 weeks for my tonsilatis. What can this be?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* The issue sounds to be a drug (consumed for tonsilitis) induced urinary tract infection.

* Primary guidelines

- stop further doses of the antibiotic
- consume plenty of liquids
- cranberry sachet once daily in a glass of drinking water
- follow up online after 2 days about the progress and further line of management guidelines.
- genital hygiene is a matter of prime importance with avoidance of sex if active.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
