Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Today I had a transvangial ultrasound done and I left in some discomfort. Recently, had my vitamin D level check and it was low, 15. Plus, had some weight gain, regardless of going to the gym and burning 600-1200 calories a day. What would cause the ultrasound to be painful?
In my opinion pain may be only related to procedure. As ultrasound probe can hurt endometrium and cause pain. And for your weight gain I would recommend you to get done thyroid levels. So no need to worry about this pain.
