i sat all afternoon watching the PHOENIX OPEN Got up to leave stood up, turned to walk to the left, at the very first step I KNEW something was wrong. to right of my knee cap and down a little ---PAIN. some swelling no bruising can bend it, can straighten it but hurts

in my opinion you have minor injury to your lateral meniscus
i advice the use of NSAIDs like alphinturn also rest
to be safe do an MRI to confirm
if pain persist then you should see a physical therapist
