I have a strange feeling inside my right throat. when I swallow it is uncomfortable. I have had this condition for nearly a year. But I am a very healthy 70. it is beginning to worry me. When I clear my throat first thing in the morning, the phlegm is sort of dirty red with a bit of brown. I am concerned about this. When I was 3, growing up in Ceylon (Sri Lanka), I had something wrong with my throat and I was hospitalised in the Naval hospital for 3 months. My father had some documents, but they are lost. And I have been living in UK for the last 48 years. Please put my mind at rest. Thanks
