What Causes Painful Red Spots On Labia Minora After Having Sex?
hello, i have a question. I do not mean to sound crude with the details. I have had sexial intorcorse with my partner. we have been together 6 months. and i do ot hink he has an std. The last time we had sexial intercourse it was rather rough and since then ( 5 days ago) i have been rather sore. Last night i inspected my self to see what was causing the pain. and i saw a smal tear near the openening. after i saw two small red spots on my labia minora, and they are very painful. What do you think this could be?

It is likely that the sores are herpetic and probably was acquired from your partner. It is unlikely that traumatic sores would persist even after 5 days of your last sexual contact
Herpes can start as fluid filled bumps that may soon rupture to form well defined erosions; pain, burning sensation, burning micturation being part of the episode.
I would suggest that you visit a sexual health specialist for a confirmatory diagnosis. The sores of herpes are quite characteristic to be missed or mistaken for some thing else. Your doctor might also order a lab test as well for a confirmatory diagnosis in case of any doubt.
