What Causes Painful Lumps On The Thigh And Hip?

A couple of months ago, i found a lump on my outer,upper right thigh. Over time it has caused my hip and leg to hurt. Today i went to the doctor expecting to hear its a fatty tumor or a cyst. The doctor examined it and found another lump close by, so her sent me to xray. The xray showed three areas on my hip and upper thigh varying in size between a pea to a quarter. The word sarcoma was mentioned so should i be worried? Thank you for your time.

sarcomas less than 5 cm have good prognosis. consult an surgical oncologist for further management.should get an ct chest done to rule out spread to lungs. should get an core needle biopsy.
