What Causes Painful Lump On Inside Of Mouth?

I had a filling fall out, obviously the tooth underneath was rotten, now I have a hard painful lump on the inside of my mouth (about the size of a pea) and also in my cheek, I can feel a hard ball (about the size of a quarter)...what could that possibly be?

Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query.
The lump on the inside of your mouth and cheek can be because of the abscess formation secondary to tooth infection. Nothing to be panic, consult a oral physician and get it evaluated. You need to get the tooth restored with root canal treatment. Mean while you can take a course of antibiotics like amoxicillin and metronidazole(if you are not allergic).
I hope my answer will help you, take care.
