What Causes Painful Lump Inside The Rectum?

hi, this is super awkward for me to talk about so I m happy I can do it online. Yesterday, I noticed a pain in my butt— literally. Around the opening of my anus, slightly inside, there s a hard, pea-sized bump. I tried to look at it and it looks as though it s a little bit white in colour. It s incredibly painful when I have to poo and to wipe afterward. I really don t want to go to a doctor in person if at all possible. What could be wrong?

HI

Thanks for posting your query.

It is a boil probably going in to become an abscess. You definitely need to consult a doctor else it may rupture and spread to whole buttocks or even inside into the rectum.

Most of the time this can be cured with proper antibiotic therapy but if too much of pus has got collected it has to be drained .

Don't hesitate its a matter of health . Consult your doctor soon.

Hope this information was useful to you.
Any clarification feel free to ask.
