What Causes Painful Legs And Uncomfortable Tendons And Ankles?

Hi I have been on tamoxifen for the past 5 yrs following chemo and radiation for stage 2 breast cancer, Recently I switched generic brands and all of a sudden my legs ache. My Achilles tendons ankles and calves are uncomfortable. I exercise everyday and have for the past 30 odd years--no potential injury incidents or changes in routine. Could the change in generic brands be the cause? This reminds me of how it felt to be on Adriamycin during chemo Thanks for the help

Hello,
I have studied your case and I think that that you are having nerve related problem. I do not think that it can be due to change in the generic medicines. I would recommend you to get your serum B 12 estimation. Also check your blood sugar. Neuropathy can cause such symptoms. If these yes,to shows that your are having either high blood sugar or low serum B 12 than you can plan for following.
1. take tablet Methylcobal daily.
2 . if sugar is high than treatment for that,
3. Tablet Pregabalin daily is also helpful.
