What Causes Painful Hard Bump On Spine Post Treatment For Back Pain?

My husband had back pains lower to be specific for 2 weeks they responded to antiinflammatory and muscle relaxant drugs over the past 2 days he s had a painful neck and developed a hard bump on his upper back over his spine almost leveling up with his shoulders he says it is not painful to touch,what could that be?

?Painful hump from C-7 / T1 Spines.
X-ray Neck and upper thorax would confirm this.Other possibilities could be from Edema on shoulder.
Check with Orthopedic Doctor to confirm it by physical examination and assessment of bump on spine.
