General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
I understand your concern.
Clitoris is a very delicate & vascular part of vaginal orificerichly supplied by nerves. So it is easily inflamed by trauma, friction, infection(fungal/bacterial), trauma due to violent stimulation. And leads to unbearable pain due to it's rich nerve supply.
Sexual stimulation becomes painful because of clitoral engorgement to the extent of sex being impossible.
Managment consists of -
- Rest. avoid sex till recovery./ use of loose cotton undergarments.
- Keeping the area clean,antibiotic/steroid ointment locally.
- Oral non steroidal anti inflamatory drugs, anti biotic/anti fungal medicines (as per doctor's advise)
-- Consult a gynecologist for Local examination/diagnosis / treatment of both partners in case of infection.
Thanks.
