What Causes Painful Cheeks And Swollen Glands?

I THINK I PUSHED A SINUS PLUG OUT TONIGHT......BEEN ON AUGMENTIN FOR 3 DAYS WOKE UP THIS AM WITH HORRIBLE PAIN IN MY LEFT UPPER CHEEK AND VERY SWOLLEN GLANDS ON THE LEFT. UPON RESTING MY FACE IN IN THE PALM OF MY HAND THE PAIN & TENDERNESS WAS MORE INTENSE. TONIGHT I EXPERIENCED INCREASED PRESSURE, SO I KEPT MASSAGING UP UNDER MY LEFT CHEEK BONE. I FELT SOMETHING DISLODGE & ALMOST CHOAKED ON IT UP WAS ABLE TO COUGH IT OUT. I WAS IN SHOCK NOT KNOWING WHAT IT WAS ABOUT ONE INCH OR MORE LONG MUCUS, THICK & PUSSY LOOKING, KINDA PEAR SHAPED. WAS THIS A SINUS PLUG?

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your concern looking to the history given here I could say that what ever you found mucus like it could be thick sputum and nothing would be else, if I would be your doctor then I would treat this case with the following medicines "Tab Levocetrizine 10 mg" three times in day with phenylephrine three times in day, hope this information helps you, have a nice day.
I find this answer helpful
