A Pilonidal cyst is located near the tailbone at the top of the cleft of the buttocks it appears be due to hairs that puncture the skin and then become embedded & it has a tendency to cause infection on prolonged sitting. You are advised to get examined by a surgeon for as it has to be surgically removed to prevent the recurrence.
