What Causes Painful Bruises On The Legs?
What can cause unexplained, nontraumatic contusions in a 20 yo F on her legs only. These bruises can be painful, irregular in shape and size and have an irregular cycle of appearing and resolving. It s not itchy or isn t warm or raised. There is no hematoma. The young lady is not anemic and her labs are within normal limits before, during and after. She has a general feeling of weakness / lethargy that may or may not be associated. Eating habits are realitivly healthy. She is not obese or sedentary. These splotches / contusions started about a year ago.
