What Causes Painful Breasts And Excessive Moisture Around The Vagina With Hypothyroidism?

I am a 48 yr old woman who has supposedly gone through menopause. Recently was diagnosed with hypothyroidism and the treatment went all the way into hyperthyroidism. In the meantime, my breasts have became unusually painful and the nipples are extremely sensitive. Also, there is excessive moisture around my vaginal and anal area. It has become quite a problem and sometimes has a fishy odor.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Excessive vaginal discharge with fishy odor is concerning for vaginal infection. Vaginal examination, vaginal swab microscopy is needed at this point to come to a definite diagnosis.
Breast pain is likely unrelated. Please be advised to undergo a clinical breast examination to rule out any breast pathology.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Lekshmi Rita Venugopal, General & Family Physician
