What Causes Painful Blisters On The Index Finger Of The Left Foot?

I woke up Sat and noticed 2 small blisters on the pad of my left index finger. As the day went on it became swollen, the blisters larger & very painful. That night I soaked it in Epsom Salts and then applied antibiotic cream. Sunday it was very swollen & painful & throbbing. I used a sterilized needle to prick the blisters but only a small amount of clear fluid came out. Again applied antibiotic cream. Today slightly less painful but still swollen, skin tight and slightly numb.

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be most likely bacterial and fungal combined localized skin infection. Using neosporin triple antibiotic cream will be helpful. If no improvement oral antibiotic will be needed. You can clean the area with saline and apply this.

Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
