What Causes Pain While Walking After Suffering From Neck And Body Injury?

About 4 months ago I landed on my neck/shoulders and my legs folded over my head on the trampoline. When I stood up, I had some pain and it kind of hurt to walk. Today I play volleyball and still have pain. I wake up in the middle of the night in bad pain. I haven t seen a doctor because I want to continue playing, but don t know if it it could be serious.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Your problem can be most likely due to strain and sprain. Taking combination of analgesic like Ibuprofen and muscle relaxants like thiocolchicoside will be helpful. You can also do warm compress.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nishad BN, General & Family Physician
