What Causes Pain While Urinating?
Hi my son is 3 and at grandmas for the weekend. My mom just called me saying my son is very hot and complaining that it hurts when he goes pee so he doesn t want to. They were outside most of the afternoon swimming. I m thinking he has heat stroke but I don t know why it would hurt him to pee?

Fever and pain on peeing can suggest a urine infection. After confirming this with urine test, this can be treated with antibiotics for 7 days. Kindly take him to pediatrician. Meanwhile, give him acetaminophen for fever and give plenty of fluids.
