What Causes Pain While Swallowing?

Hi, Today I swallowed this very large piece of sushi all in one go and afterwards I was in so much pain and 5 hours later I still am... My gland is swollen and my neck feels strained and the pain has gone up to my right ear as well... It really hurts to swallow any pieces of food or fluids... it feels like a pulsating pain and it comes and goes randomly, and when it comes it is really painful... unless I am swallowing... It is really painful and the piece of sushi didn t have any hard food items in it... What could I have done for that to happen? How can I make it feel better?

ENT Specialist 's  Response
This can be allergic to some ingredient in sushi or some hidden hard material foreign body in there. In either case start on anti reflux anti inflammatories. Get an X ray neck done and rule out any swelling or in formation.. Rule out tonsillitis as well
