What Causes Pain Under The Rib Cage On The Right Side?

I am having pain on right side under my rib. It is constant. Should I be concerned? It all started with me being real nauseous snout a month ago and it was on and off. Then got to wear it felt like my stomach was being tied in knots and now this pain.

I have gone through your query. It can be due to gastritis. In such case taking Esomeprazole(Nexium) daily for 2 weeks will be helpful. But if the pain is superficial on ribs then applying NSAID gels like diclofenac will be helpful. If no improvement doing an ultrasound examination is well appreciated to rule out any underlying problems like gallstones.
