hi i m 23wks pregnant and the very base off my spine is really hurting, when I sit down it takes me a while to get in a comfy position but then when I come to stand its absolute agony I could actualy cry- the longer I sit the worse the pain is when I stand! Its also very painful if I try to lie on my back unless I remove the pillow s from under my head and raise my legs with loads off pillow s underneath (which I dont really want to do as I shouldn t be lieing on my back cos off baby) I lie on my sides but still pain ful but bearable (until I have to move) then after about an hour or two I have to switch sides as it causes me pain on my sides. What can I do?
Hello dear,I understand your concern. In my opinion the pain might be muscular in origin. Some or the other types of non specific pains might be seen in.pregnancy which subside spontaneously before or after delivery.Dont worry.Take panadol for pain. And make yourself confortable by lying on sides only with the help of pillows.Even while sitting place a pillow abd sit on it to avoid pressure over tail bone and pain. Best regards...Dr.srilatha
