What Causes Pain On The Right Side After Removing Gall Bladder?
I had surgery last Sept. I had a blockage in my bileduct...thet put a stent which had to be removed 24 hrs. After because of servers pain..which I was informed it slipped and inflamed my pancreas. This was done by my Gastrolist but my surgeon shortly after admitted me to another hospital and removed my Gallbladder. I ve had serval CT scans and MRIs....telling dr.s I am experiencing pain in my right side..sometimes extremely bad. I was told it could be scar tissue .........right now I hurt so bad....but I am not going to be told its nothing. Please give me some advise
Differential: Stones in CBD, Hepatitis, Mild pancreatitis
do following: 1. Ultrasound to rule out any stones or abnormality in Common Bile Duct 2. Liver function Test (liver enymes, if possible HepB & C serology) 3. if above two test results are normal then you may check serum amylase and lipase to rule out pancreas pathology
