Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
good evening, I have been having pain on the bottom of my right foot when I walk. I am also suffering with tendonitis in both of my wrist, im looking for some type of unscented crème to rub on my wrist for relief. I do wear my braces however I cant wear them all day long.
Hello and welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Your pain could be due to inflammation. Try applying systaflam gel. Systaflam Gel contains Chlorpheniramine Maleate, Diclofenac Diethylammonium, Menthol, Mephenesin, Methyl Nicotinate, Methyl Salicylate, and Turpentine Oil as active ingredients.
I would suggest you to stop using braces because when you use braces for a long time the muscles of that part atrophy, that is they lose their bulk and strength. Consult a physiotherapist who would suggest few simple exercises and remedies for your tendonitis. If the condition persists beyond 3 to 6 months I would suggest you to consult a rheumatologist for further investigation.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Deepti Shivakumar
