What Causes Pain On Temple And Behind Eyes?

Hi, I have pain behind my right eye, hurts if I look to the side or up and down. I have neck tension plus a headache, my head feels like its in a vice. I get occassional sharp pain on my right temple. I have had it for 4 months and currently can not work. Dr has given me 20 mg cipralex ,been taking for 2 months and 50 mg molipaxin daily, been taking for 2 days. Recently the headaches have been feeling worse and apart from a slightly lightened mood, I don't feel better. Would appreciate any input.

Thanks

hi dear
it would have been better if you would have mentioned your age

the kind of pain you have mentioned can arise because of following

1 related to eye an uncorrected refractive that which can be corrected with spectacles / glaucoma that is an elevated pressure of eye fluids intolerable to eye/some mass lesion behind the eyeball.
a detailed eye examination needs to be done

2 blood pressure -high spikes
3 a problem in ear
4 a computerised tomogram may also help you

good luck
