What Causes Pain On Right Side Of The Pelvis And Mild Nausea?

Hello, I have a pain in my right side which my doctor thought could be a muscular pain, but sometimes I feel as though it is a little deeper. I know the muscles surrounding the pelvic area are quite strong, so perhaps this is all it is. I have a normal temp, but feel a little nauseous. This could be because I am worried. Could this be a grumbling appendix? I have had this niggling pain, which although is not terrible, is there on and off, for about two weeks. I am a fit and active person. Thanks

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello, welcome to HCM. I wonder whether you have taken muscle relaxant and analgesics (pain reliever). If not taken take that three times for 2 days. If the pain settles down, then it is related to muscle. If the pain does not subside, then take one ultrascan test to see any inflamatory changes of appendix which confirm appendicitis. Plese take an appointment with surgeon. By doing few tests appendicitis can be confirmed. Take care.
