What Causes Pain & Numbness In The Hand?

Hi, my question is my right hand has been in pain for years now. My fingers are numb, my thumb hurts so bad I can t touch it. The pain has traveled up to my shoulder, and know I can t put my arm to the back to get dressed. My Doctor gave me a shot of cordazone in my wrist, but it did nothing. I have Lupus, fibromyalgia, hypothyroidism, migraines, and a ruptured disk in lower back. The pain I have is every day and night, I don t get any sleep. I am seeing a pain management, and a rheumatologist, I get shots and medication. Tell me what is happening to my hand. Thank you

Hi, Welcome to healhcaremagic. After going through your query I concluded that you may be suffering from frozen shoulder. I treat my such patients by mobilisation exercise of shoulder, analgesic such as ibuprofen for pain relief. Vitamin B and C help in recovery.
