What Causes Pain Near Adam S Apple While Swallowing And Yawning?
34 yr old overweight Caucasian woman. When I swallow or yawn I get a pain near what would be the Adams apple area but on the left side of it. I am not sick, getting sick, or recently sick. Duration of pain is about 2 weeks, I am a light smoker and have had black mold issues in my home I rent. What could it possibly be? I have no fever either. Always tired and sleep very poorly.

The pain in throat Adam's apple area can arise in your case from- irritation of throat followed by swelling in tonsils, lymph nodes, post nasal drip, swelling of epiglottis) due to black mould spore inhalation. Management of course consists of getting rid of the mould and the treatment of throat problem caused thereby.
