What Causes Pain In Wrist, Shoulders And Knee?

My father had 6 artery bypass 6 months ago. He has developed a lot of pain in both wrist, one more than the other. Sometimes his one knee is hurting and then goes away. Both shoulders are in pain as well. The swelling was real bad on one wrist and he had a cast put on it. So much pain he cannot sleep. He is 78 and has always worked out in the gym etc.

My dear friend,I am sorry to hear that.but after a extensive bypass surgery like the type your father has gone through,it is quite common to have some pain, numbness or swelling in some of the area.there is no complete cure for this.but you should know that a regular home regimen of physiotherapy is really useful in this situation.a little stretching and strengthening exercise will help to increase blood flow in those area.also it will strengthen the muscles and increase the mobility of various body part.so in this way ,I hope your father can get a good amount of relief from his current condition.thank you.
