What Causes Pain In Upper Thigh Radiating To Groin And Knee?

I am having pain in the upper right theigh from groin area to near knee. Pain varies in intensity from maybe a 2 to a 5 if I move wrong. Sometimes the pain occurs on the right side of the right theigh. The only time that I do not have the pain is when I am sitting or laying down

I really appreciate your concern, such pain could be due to sciatica care needs to be taken for good posture and for confirmation better to get done the MRI test for the pain NSAID can be tried hope this information helps.
