Hi, my doctor thinks i have IBS as c. 12 mths ago i started suffering from severe constipation. I take movicol to help with the constipation. However In the past week i now have quite bad pain in my upper right side, seems to be under rib cage at the top. I also feel very quesy like i could vomit. My doctor is on holidays at the moment so i went to the cover doctor, she thought it could be stomach infection at entrance to stomach or possibly my gall bladder. she gave me pantoprazole for nausea but the pain seems to be getting worse since. I dont not have an upset stomach, heartburn or anything like that, just pain. She didn't get me any antibiotic either which i thought strange if she thinks i have stomach infection.She said if things dont improve i should probably go for a ultra sound, i feel i should be going for this now really.. What should i do? Should i go to another doctor? I am going for a colonoscopy in a week in relation to the IBS but the pain in upper right has only come on in the last week and is something completely seperate.
