What Causes Pain In Throat & Ears With Headache?

2 weeks ago I started having congestion, sore throat & allergies due to cedar. I have been taking nyquil, ibuprofen and benadryl. 4 days ago I lost my voice completely. My throat and ears hurt plus have headaches. No fever. I am not sure if I should go to the ER since I do not have insurance to go to a doctor.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Allergic rhinosinusitis (affecting nose and sinuses) can cause nasal congestion, sneezing, facial pain, sore throat, headaches, post nasal drip, fever and ear pain.

You may want to use a topical steroid nasal spray and decongestant in addition to the antihistamine that you are using. The antihistamine may come in a combination with a decongestant.

I hope this helps
