What Causes Pain In Throat After Started Smoking?

i recently started smoking... like a few months ago and the right side of my throat is hurting but only when i press it, just below my tonsil area but i also have big tonsils and tonsil stones. i don't know which is the cause for this pain. can u please help me?

hello and welcome to health care magic,

You have both tonsillitis and may be even reflux which is causing the pain especially after smoking.
In any case you must stop smoking and consult an ENT as soon as possible so that a decision on whether to treat only conservatively or with a combination of medication and surgery is needed can be taken
