What Causes Pain In The Vagina After Intercourse?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Last weekend i had sex, which the next day was quite painful, after a couple of days i realised that there was a spot on the lips of my vagina which i popped today and lots of pus came out. Is this cause for concern? Could it be an STI?

Hello ma'am and welcome.

By spot did you mean a blister? Or was it like a pimple? I would prefer physical examination without which making a diagnosis is only a shot in the dark.

But based on the provided information I am suspecting it to be folliculitis, which is not related to any STIs. Please write back to me using our premium service wherein you can attach images of the affected region as well.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
