What Causes Pain In The Thumbnail Post Intake Of Tylenol Tablet?

I have a thin black line down my left thumbnail that comes and goes when I take Tylenol and Advil. I don t take alot at one time but at one time I took them on a regular basis, I stopped talking them altogether and the line went away. I just recently took some the other day and the line came back and tonight my thumbnail actually is a little painful, kinda throbbing. Please I ve asked doctors in the past and nobody has any idea what it is, do you? Please help thank you Melanie

Welcome to HCM. Sorry to hear about your thumbnail. I am at loss as to the relation of the medications and the line on your nail. Please note that there is nothing in literate or on practice that correlates with this. All I can say is that this may be an anomaly with you (making you special) and maybe one day this may be correlated, but at the moment, I would not stress over it. I hope this helps you out. Good luck
