What Causes Pain In The Throat And Abdomen?
my son woke up yesterday complaining about his throat and stomach hurting. He was also running a fever of 100.9. He does have a good apetite though. He woke up today still complaining of his throat hurting, but the fever is gone. He does not have any coughing or running nose. I looked in his throat and there is red spots on the roof of his mouth towards the back. Does he have strep or just a sore throat that will heal on its own

He may be suffering from viral pharyngitis, then it may be infected with bacteria which lead to streptococcus pharyngitis. Until examination is done, it is difficult to say what it is.
Avoid cool water and freeze water drinking. Use salt water gargling thrice a day for five days and water vapor inhalation thrice a day for five days.
If symptoms not improved, then please consult your doctor so that he will examine and treat you accordingly.
