What causes pain in the thigh?

Hi, I am 40 year old female and have been experiencing alot of pain on the right middle portion from the top of my thigh just at the crease of my gluteous max. I sit for a short period of time and can not apply any pressure to that area and the same when I lay down, I can not lie on the right side at all and when I turn to lay on my stomach alot of throbbing pain is under my gluteous at the crease very painful . This has been going on when I had a problem with my sciatic nerve on both sides but the right side still hasn t ceased in this localized area. I try to soak in warm water and massaged and it still does not bring relief. Any ideas. TY

Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to a pinched nerve. For his reason, I recommend performing a lumbar spine CT scan and nerve conduction studies.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
