What Causes Pain In The Shoulder And Numbness On The Index Finger?
Achey neck sore shoulder pain on outside of elbow and numb I ndex finger. Dr. said vertical day...something. Possible pinched nerve or herniated disc. Could also be arthritis within spinal cord. Please explain. He gave me a muscle relaxer and a steroid to see of he could reduce swelling.

Possible issue relate to nerve compression of radial or median nerve most likely and the same should be elicited with MRI of the shoulder to get best management options.
