What Causes Pain In The Right Lung While Breathing?

hello. my name is Brent. yesterday i was sitting in my computer chair playing a game online and all of a sudden my upper right side of my back was hurting and it felt like everytime i took a deep or semi-deep breath that my lungs were pushing up against my sore part of my back. it felt like i needed to have my back popped. so i went to sleep and woke up this morning with my right lung hurting A LOT. i know now that it isnt my back but my right lung. i smoke cigz and pot. and i dont know what is going on with me. please help. do i need to see a doc?

Yes, you should definitely consult doctor.
Sudden onset chest pain in smoker can be due to pneumothorax.
So better to consult pulmonologist and get done clinical examination of respiratory system and chest x ray.
If chest x ray is normal then no need to worry for pneumothorax.
Sometimes muscle spasm can also cause similar kind of pain.
So avoid movements causing pain. Avoid heavyweight lifting and strenuous exercise.
Sit with proper beck support.
Take painkiller and muscle relaxant drugs like ibuprofen and thiocolchicoside. Don't worry, you will be alright but first rule out pneumothorax.
And please quit smoking as soon as possible.
