What Causes Pain In The Pit Of The Stomach While Swallowing Saliva?
I have a sharp pain at the pit of my stomach, even when swallowing saliva. When I eat, I get a sharp pain and I regurgitate the spoonful so I can keep on eating, this doesn t happen all the time. It happens 1 or 2 times a week. Also I ve notice I m skipping a breath when I m awake. Than you, I hope you can steer me in the right direction. Susan Estrada
Hello dear Greetings Regarding your experience with sharp pain when I swallow saliva and also while eating with occasional regurgitation I am suggesting that you have developed the following differential diagnosis

Meanwhile please see a gastroenterologist specialist with the results and for further clinical evaluation as well as adequate drug prescription
Moreover please take some antacids pending your appointment
Concerning your skipping breath while awake I am suggesting you are gradually developing Acute chest infection possibly from aspiration of gastric content
