What Causes Pain In The Lower Right Abdomen?

For a couple of weeks, my 19 year daughter was experiencing pain in your lower right abdomen/pelvic area. We went to GYN/OB & they did an ultrasound and found a cyst on the left ovary (slightly less than 3cm). At first the pain was sharp & stabbing then became continuous, so severe that she was unable to attend school. They requested a CT Scan and referred her to a surgeon. The scan didn t indicate anything beyond the cyst and the surgeon said the problem was the cyst & she should be better soon. after 2 weeks of unrelenting pain, the dr did another ultrasound. This confirmed the cyst was gone & no fluid. they decided it must be the appendix. This was removed a week from last Friday. she is now having similar pains in the same area again with a mild 99 degree fever. Any suggestions??? Thanks

Hi there, I have understood your concern and I will suggest you the best possible treatment.

First of all do not panic.

I will suggest that please seek prescription support from your treating doctor for a combination pills containing ofloxacin and ornidazole, a course of week long duration.
Also, antispasmodic like Dicyclomine can be taken as needed.
Along course of pre probiotics is advisable.

Please rule out renal tract calculus needs to be ruled out.

I hope this answer helps you.
Thanks.
