What Causes Pain In The Lower Groin Area?

I have stabbing pain in lower right groin area it comes and goes and can be painfull. I have suffered from prostititus for years but thi pain is different my prostate is somewhat enlarged and take flowmax and was checked out by uralagist a year ago what might this be now

Hi, look out for an inguinal hernia. Cough and see whether there is a bulge. There could also be some enlarged and inflamed glands leading to pain--regards
