Hello,
Pain during early pregnancy can occur due to several reasons. It can be due to the elongation of the uterine supporting ligaments as the uterus enlarges to become an abdominal organ, or due to the tubal contractions, or due to the failure of a retroverted uterus to enlarge into the abdomen or due to a threatened abortion. Since the sonogram has not revealed any abnormal pattern in the pregnancy, you need to watch and wait. Please take absolute bed rest, avoid all strenuous activity including sexual intercourse. Hope this helps.
