If you are missing a period than very likely you are pregnant and you will need a pregnancy test. If the test is positive then you will need to see a doctor and have the proper examinations to make sure this is a normal pregnancy. If the pregnancy test is negative then you may repeat it in 2-3 days and use early morning urine. If the pregnancy test is repeatedly negative and the low abdominal pains are worsening you will need to see a doctor and have a gynecological examination and urinalysis to rule out urinary infection and gynecological infections as the cause of your abdominal pain. If all of these are normal (vaginal examination and urinalysis) then problems with bowel can be considered.
