What Causes Pain In The Lower Abdomen And Pelvis After Intercourse?

Hello, I’m an 18 year old female who lost her virginity almost two weeks ago. When I lost my virginity it was was with a condom and it was very painful. We tried different positions and it hurt really bad. After about 1 or two days I began experiencing cramps. And ever since then the cramps have gotten worse. I feel it in my pelvic area, under my ribs, and lower abdomen (so basically everywhere). And my lower back sometimes hurts. I also have slight bloating. I have been freaking out but trying to stay calm. I am not on any birth control myself. I am scared I might be pregnant even though we used a condom. We went through five condoms but no ejaculation happened. I really need some words of wisdom from you guys because it’s been affecting my mood and even my family has noticed my mood change.

hello.
well if you're sure that your partner used a condom, there are less chances of getting pregnant. Sometimes, its normal to have pains and cramps but if they are severe, they're more likely to be because of infections. you can go for a checkup to make sure you're pregnant or not. the doctors would just get your ultrasound done for confirmation.
best regards,
Dr Gunjan
